Heart For The City (HFTC) is a charitable ministry of social revival through grace and favour. Founded on first of July 2003.

As part of our agenda for the transformation of social values Heart for the City established a Community centre called “The Chat House” to facilitate the regeneration of the Maryhill area of Glasgow by improving; community lifestyle, housing, racial and ethnic relationships and social integration by spiritual, social and economic assistance (including the encouraging, financing or facilitating of research on urban improvement and development).

Our Aim is to support, encourage, restore and transform the city, for the Glory of God. We are a non-denominational, non-political, Christian organisation. We operate under spiritual oversight of key city leaders and respect every Christian denomination.

Our Vision is to advance the Christian faith among the people of Scotland and elsewhere in the United Kingdom; to support asylum seekers and refugees to integrate into society, to relieve the suffering of drug and substance abusers through rehabilitation, to train and educate the socially disadvantaged. To encourage and restore broken families and also to help people suffering from anti- social behaviour as well as hurt and deprived members of the community.
